Schedule and Attendance

Summer Rising programs will begin in July and end in mid-August. Summer Rising programs will operate Monday through Friday at varying dates and times:

Grades K–5: The program will run from July 2 to August 15, 2025, Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. 

Grades 6–8: The program will run from July 2 to August 8, 2025, Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. 

Students with 12-Month IEPs:

  • Students attending a District 75 school will attend July 3–August 13, Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., or a similar six and a half hour schedule.
  • Students in a District 1-32 Extended School Year school will attend July 2–August 12, Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
  • Students in an ASD Nest and Horizon Program will attend July 2–August 2, Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
  • Students with 12-month IEPs will have the option to participate in DYCD-led extended day enrichment hours (until 6 PM) and programming through August 8, 2025 (6–8 students) and August 15, 2025 (K–5 students). Families interested in this extended day enrichment should use MySchools to apply.
